Is anyone else planning on going?

A few of us are going from the Cheshire and Staffs region and hopefully meeting up with some of the the NW region to travel over together. I've no idea where we be meeting up yet but one of the members who lives around Mold is looking for somewhere suitable but it obviously depends on numbers.

we've been sent this from the PCGB guys;

PCGB have organised their annual 'Porsches on the Prom' event at the North Shore Promenade, Llandudno, on Sunday 28th April. Cars participating are expected to arrive from 11am, and the display is due to finish at 4pm with a drive around the Great Orme. The only stipulation is that if your car leaks oil you are expected to bring a drip tray. Entry on to the Prom will be from opposite the St. George Hotel, with the cars lined up Le Mans style. A strict speed limit of 5mph will apply as there will be pedestrians present. At last years event there were 93 cars on display, the aim is to break 100 this time.

Hi. A loose plan was discussed at the last NW region meeting. We are meeting at the Lymm Truck Stop (Poplar 2000) just off the M6 south bound with a view to leaving at 8.35am. We then plan to stop at Chester Services on the M56, J14, at around 9.00am to round up any folk who want to convoy down with us. The aim is to arrive at Llandudno circa 10.00am.

After Llandudno we'll probably have a gentle potter around some quiet Welsh lanes to take in the views and do a spot of twitching. Or similar.

ETA just checking your quote from PCGB and it looks like 10am arrival may be a bit early. Mind, I'm sure Llandudno will have a cafe or similar for a cuppa and bacon sarnie if we have some time to spare!

I may join you at Lymm as I live North of Warrington so will be passing.

I think Terry or Baz have been in touch with someone in the NW region about meeting on the A55??? I will check.
