WEDNESDAY 4th June 2008
TIPEC SCOTLAND

Stewart Gordon thanked all for coming along a strong turn out once again and some lovely cars in the car park also. Hello to Sandy Wilson a new member and the proud owner of a 1989 G50 Guards Red 911 coupe also Alex (sorry didn’t catch your surname) also a new member and the owner of a much cherished 912 grey in color, both of which looked nice examples I have to say.

Knockhill was discussed and has now passed an excellent turnout, 19 cars in total including a nice black 996 which particularly caught my eye I do have to say. A very big well done to Peter Weston and his 944 always turned as clean as ever. Peter managed to pick up a Trophy on the day for his classic 1980’s Knockhill car award. Well done Peter another trophy for the wife to clean!!. Many thanks to all who donated to Brain Woods charity even and any late donations please contact Brian direct on 07759014170 ASAP. An excellent day out folks and I did get burned under the sun as apposed to getting wet in the rain iam not complaining honestly folks!!!!!

The meeting arrangements are as follows:

Plenty of passes are still available for this show if anyone who did not put there name down at the meeting still wish to go. Food arrangements I think will be bring your own food on the day and our trusted catering team will perform on then accordingly.

The national show also was mentioned and I think iam correct in typing NO ONE wishes to go to the Saturday night formalities; therefore it is a drunken night out as per the normal. Tickets for the Sunday Show itself will need to be applied for in person and full details of ticket information has been published in the recent ALL TORQUE . However the details are as follows:

unfortunately), or the easier option is to buy tickets online from

Payable on arrival and anyone who wishes to cancel will have to inform myself no later that the 12th July in order I can cancel without financial penalty. Anyone cancelling after that date will be subject to the full cost i.e. £110.

It was mentioned by Stewart Gordon that we will need to find a new venue for the monthly meet and Alan Neilson has been working on this one and has came up with an excellent venue I think, THE MOTOR MUSEUM at Boness exact dates of the switch to be finalised and we will keep you informed, thanks Alan for that.
The reason for this guys and dolls is that our understanding is that we will be subject to room hire charges in the not so distant future and this is not a viable option for our club..

Once again thanks for attending June’s meeting and we will see you all at Moffat or the next meeting on the 2nd of July.

Many thanks Neil Fraser (A.R.O EAST OF SCOTLAND)
