Neil Fraser and Alan Neilson welcomed all along to this evening’s meeting, 11 bodies and 10 porkers were present and apologies from Stewart Gordon were received who is on holiday.
Next was the August BBQ for club members and there immediate family, this will be held on the 14th of August and we will be hosting the BBQ at the David Marshall Lodge at Aberfoyle. Postcode FK8 3SX (for sat nav purposes) This is a day whereby all club members and the immediate family will be welcome to come along and enjoy a nice BBQ and we will have some fun games and this will be paid for by the Scottish Region and Stewart, Alan and myself will be your slaves for the day, all you have to do is turn up and enjoy. We started this venue firstly last year and proved very successful so hence the reason we are repeating it this year. All names etc to either Stewart Gordon, Alan Neilson or myself to enable us to have approx numbers for the day. This day will be aimed at a family day out so please bring the whole family with you. Please arrive from midday onwards and have a few pound coins available for parking!!

September shows are as follows 11th of September is Scone Palace and there is NO restriction for age of cars etc as we are a club stand and therefore a mixture of classic and modern is good for this show. Also for September is Selkirk Rally and the concours day for the region and this will be on the 18th of September. Both shows are subject to a £2 admin charge and will be taken on the day also meet details to be confirmed at next month’s meet. All names etc to Alan, Stewart or myself for the above shows.
Myself will be doing a sponsored cycle on the September 11th from Glasgow to Edinburgh and this is to raise funds for CCLASP the children’s cancer charity and I will be looking for donations or penny’s per mile (51 in total) for this worthwhile cause as ever the region is very supportive of the charity and I hope to raise some cash for the charity with the help from you guy’s and doll’s. If you with to donate in anyway please just e-mail me and I will add your details to the sponsor sheet. I am one of about 30 cyclist’s that will be raising money for various charity’s on that day.
