Hi Ian, Lincs meet at Tealby, just outside Market Raisen on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 19.30

Kings Head Inn
Kingsway
Tealby
LN8 3YA

Unfortunately Brod Purdy the regions RO has jut resigned due to health and time problems which is shame as he was building a nice new region and forming ties with Lincs and Louth (the oldest car club in thr UK), I have not attended since Sept/Oct so am unsure what the situation is at the moment.
The East Mids region at The Anchor Hathern LE12 5JB just off the M1 near East Mids airport is probably your next closest

Hi to all the Lincs region members...

I'm sorry I had to stand down owing to continuing heal;th issues and other more pressing issues that seem to take up more time than I thought. I had to think long and hard about this decision, but felt it was not fair to the local members not to be able to commit fully to the RO role.

I shall attend meetings when I can as I'm only 4 miles away, so hopefully will keep in touch.

Also (big hint) Carolyn and I are having to concentrate on the Macmillan Cancer Support fund raising. That seems to have taken a back seat and we are well down on our target. We were hoping to beat last year's total of £1700, but even that seems unlikely.

The pub is super, olde worlde, the turnout during the lighter warm rainy season was ok, remembering the area was only started last year at the Rockley location, then moved to Tealby and we only got 1 or 2 dry meetings all year (Demo on concourse cleaning was held in a barn in July, nicely organised Mike) we had double figures at every meet I attended and there were always more promising to come but put off by the terrible weather, several from the skegness region I recall. We had most of the Porsche range, Grahams 924, Clive's 944 turbo, mine and Jeff's 968's, Brod's 912, John and Dave's 928's, the red Carrera 4 from Gainsborough.
March 15th East mids and SYNN are visiting Meguires at Daventry if you are interested
Paul

Yes, this Wednesday should see TIPEC members gathering at the King's Head in Tealby, starting at 1930...

Unfortunately I have a clash of dates (Parish Plan meeting) so I shall send my apologies.

I shall have a go to get to Tealby for the March date...although I do not finish my tutoring in New Waltham until 1930, so I would be a little late...

Hi, Sorry to hear that only you and your wife turned up to the meeting. We could do with a new RO to run the area. It's a bit far for me to come along (75miles) each way especially in the winter. May try and come along in the summer time if the sun does come out.

Regards
John Oakes
Northern Region Director

Afraid I will be in Paris next Wednesday, so we won't be there, apparantly only Jeff and Edith (968 Bloke) turned up last month, Clive (951 Torquing) and Graham Pearson are forum members but are still being shy, I think Brod said he was coming but after another meeting so will be slightly late
