WEDNESDAY 2nd MARCH 2011
TIPEC SCOTLAND MINUTES
Alan Neilson welcomed all to tonight’s meeting, 14 bodies and 5 porkers in the car park, on a some what cold March night.

Firstly apologies received from Stewart Gordon who was unable to attend due to family commitments.

Next on the agenda was the last of the up and coming winter meets which will be at Brunston Castle on the 20th of March. The meet details are 1030/1100 depart at Monkton Services at the end of the A77 Dutch house roundabout. A 2 course lunch £8.50 per person on the day folks. Anyone wishing to go still please contact Stewart Gordon .

The East Kilbride show is the 1st of May at the National Museum Of Rural Life. There will be a free £5 lunch voucher for each exhibitor car. Meet details to follow. I do have some names for this one but require more ASAP as the closing date for entries will be within the next 4 weeks.

The Ayrshire Classics Show on the 8th of May is restricted to ten cars and we have a few spaces left but filling up fast folks. It is intended to make a weekend of this involving an overnight stay on the Saturday and attend the show on the Sunday. Please contact myself to reserve a space on this one. Accommodation and pricing TBC

The Rolling road day will be the Saturday 16th of April at Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn 01501 741548
We have 9 cars confirmed at present and costings will be £35 if we have ten cars or more and £40 if less than ten.
Many thanks to Mike Dowie for putting this one together.

It was suggested at the beginning of the year about a Track Day Event and Jason Sloan very kindly looked into this one and it was going to work out at £68 per car if we had 30 cars or more, it would be and evening session for approx 2 hrs and would include marshals and medics etc sometime between April- September. We would need to generate a lot of interest for this one guys and dolls to make it cost effective the venue would be Knockhill of course. Many thanks to Jason for looking into this one.
Please let me know if anyone has ideas etc to generate the numbers required etc.

The national show this year will be Hatton Country World near Warwick on June 5th (Sunday) we will be travelling down on the Friday or Saturday whichever suits each party. This year accommodation will need to be booked by each individual due to a change in booking policy by Innkeepers Lodge to whom we normally stay with at the Dun Cow in Dunchurch. Provisional Names to Myself or Alan Neilson for this event and this year the show is free to club members. This is a new venue for the show and I look forward to attending, the show previous was held at Gaydon Motor Museum.
