Hi
can anyone suggest a good garage to get some work done on my 944 turbo 1989. I am in Orkney but was looking at finding somewhere in Inverness, Perth or Aberdeen areas ideally. I normally do my own work but I'm stumped by a vibration that I can't diagnose. Car is driveable but I want to find out what is wrong.
thanks
Glen

Can you be more specific about the vibration? Maybe we can help. Search the threads for 'vibration' because a few of us have experienced it. The cure can be anything from balance shaft belts to a new clutch (in my case).

I’m not sure about anyone that far north. In the Central Belt, most of us use either Motortune in Shotts or Brian Millar Motors in Edinburgh.

There is a Porsche Centre in Aberdeen. Perhaps try them. I'm sure if you gave a wee bit more info' someone might give you a few pointers before you take it all way down there. Have you phoned Flash? He might be able to put you in touch with someone. If I think of anything else I'll pop it up here.
