FOR SALE EARLY 944 £1500 OR OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS.


It's a 1982 model that was registered in August'82 originally on a Y plate although now on a private plate that will stay with the car.
Factory options include aircon which was unusual on the early cars, sunroof and factory alarm which is present but doesn't have the key.
Since buying it in 2010, It's had the following parts replaced and work done:

Good used replacement front o/s wing, n/s door, bumper,front wheelarch liners, and full respray in correct colour- Lhasa metallic.
2x rear tyres
Battery
Radiator
Fan thermo switch
Distributor cap
Oil cooler seals
Head gasket, main and rear cam gaskets and head skimmed
Clutch slave cylinder rebuiltplus new flexi and hard pipes
Front o/s brake caliper, front flexi pipes and some hard pipes, rear brake pads
Steering rack
Alternator
Ignition switch
Window switch
Fuel level sender
Bonnet struts
Major service in 2010- belts, plugs, all filters, coolant change,etc and subsequent annual oil and filter changes.


It gets used as an everday car and would need work to make it great. Interior is tatty- cracked dash, split seat seam and gets a bit damp if left outside- probably the sunroof seals/drain as the headlining gets damp. By the code from the boot, the car originally came with a brown interior but at some point this has been changed to the current black interior which came out an '83 car.
