WEDNESDAY 4th FEBRUARY 2010
TIPEC SCOTLAND MINUTES
Stewart Gordon welcomed all to tonight’s meeting, 21 bodies and 3 porkers in the car park. A warm welcome to George Macgregor and Alistair Radcliff 2 new members to the T.I.P.E.C. Scotland Region. Welcome aboard gents.

First on the agenda was the RO and ARO elections and very simply no one had put them selves forward for any position, either prior to tonight’s meeting or even on the night. Therefore the current team will continue to serve the region for 2010 this being Stewart Gordon (RO) Alan Neilson (ARO west of Scotland) and last but not least moi Neil Fraser (ARO east of Scotland) .

Next up was the forth coming winter meeting outing:
February 21st at the Atholl Arms Hotel, Blair Atholl. With a visit to Bruar Fall for those who might want to have a look about & maybe a little shopping.
(Exact meet details will be circulated by e-mail very soon by Stewart Gordon)
Please contact Stewart if you still wish to come along from the day

As a wee reminder the March winter meeting outing:
March 21st at Brunston Castle Golf Club, along with the meeting we will have a small treasure hunt for those who fancy a challenge.
(Exact meet details will be circulated by e-mail very soon by Stewart Gordon)

The SVVF (Scottish Vintage Vehicle Federation) year book will arrive in the post very soon and those members to receive this will have been members as at December 2009. This booklet will let you read all the main car show events in Scotland for the 2010 season.

The diary of events for the T.I.P.E.C. Scotland region 2010 has now been finalized 95% and please see separate sheet for full details. Many thanks for all the suggestion forms put forward and we have incorporated some of the great ideas in the diary of events.

Stewart did mention in particular the CCLASP Charity fun run penciled in for the 8th August this year. This is a joint venture with PCGB in order to gather as many porker’s as possible to enable Children to have a run in a Porsche as part of a great day out for the Kids who are a member of this very important cancer charity organization. A disclosure Scotland will be required for this and forms for this will follow in due course. There is no cost to the disclosure certificate as it will be funded through the charity. This guys and dolls is a good day out for all and hasn’t been done for approx 5 years now and back then approx 75 Porsches all in convoy police escorted was a great sight and we look for the same amount of cars again this time. Please give your details to Stewart Gordon who wishes to take part in this very worthwhile cause. The venue will be Carbury Towers nr Dalkieth, Midlothian.

Still on the charity subject we have now approx £340 to donate to the CHAS children’s charity and this Cheque will be presented on the 27th March at Rachel House Kinross. A few porker’s for that day will be required anyone who wishes to attend please contact Stewart Gordon ASAP. Many thanks to all who have donated money again to this worthwhile cause and those still wishing to donate money please contact Stewart, Alan or I.

Those of you members who require servicing or any other work to your Porsche, may I remind all that Brian Miller motors, Edinburgh TEL NO.0131 443 7806 IS A PORSCHE SPECIALIST AND IN GERMAN MARQUES. Brian is a Porsche trained mechanic and has over 40 years experience in the business.
