WEDNESDAY 4th NOVEMBER 2009
TIPEC SCOTLAND MINUTES
Stewart Gordon welcomed all to tonight’s meeting 17 bodies and 8 porkers in the car park and what is now winter I would say. A warm welcome to Alistair Cowan a new member, Alistair is in the process of restoring a 911 3litre SC and is currently breaking a 944s2 for anyone interested in requiring parts.

Stewart mentioned that the party night is going to be well attended this year with 36 confirmed and anyone still wishing to go please contact Stewart for full details etc. There is a section at the rear of the hotel which you can reserve a space for the sum of £5 if you require doing so failing that it will be at the front of the hotel.

We are pencilling in January the 24th 2010 for a karting night folks and we have two possible venues for this Livingston or Falkirk, we will be finding out exact costs in due course so watch this space for an update.

It was suggested that this year rather than send xmas cards between us folks that we would spend the money that you would spend on cards we would donate the money to a charity. The charity in question has not been decided and if anyone has a suggestion to a local charity with an on going agenda for funds then please contact Stewart, Alan or myself and we will decide at a later date where the funds will be donated to, possibly a children’s charity or cancer charity we are in your hands at this time on this subject folk’s.

PCGB are attending the public bonfire and firework display at Hopetoun House, south Queensferry EH30 9SL It is a pay at the gate and costs £5 per person anyone wishing to come along then feel free and join the rest of the guys and dolls there. It will kick of tonight (5th November) at 19:30 hrs so be prompt in case of volume at the gate etc.

Stewart went on to mention that the January meeting will be the first Wednesday of the month and NOT the second Wednesday of the month as per normal for a January meet this is due to it falling on the 6th of January and that should be enough time for everyone to soba up!!
