Has anyone experience of the 'MAK CODING Apple Carplay Auto Kit for PCM 3.1'? It's a single PCB device with no extra box. At £300 it looks interesting. Just wanted to check if anyone has experience of this company/fitted the device? Here's their link I found:

Sounds expensive unless you want to keep the original Porsche head unit? You can buy Apple/Android head units for less than that

I’m a new member and flicking through the Forum, I saw your post. If you’re still looking for Apple CarPlay, I used MAK Coding for my BMW and used NM Automotive for CarPlay in my Boxster.

MAK Coding were brilliant, they did a firmware upgrade on my BMW iDrive remotely and I’ve had no issues. Had to install a wireless antenna which was very simple.

In the Boxster I used NM Automotive as I have a CDR31 which similar to the PCM requires a circuit board to be installed in the head unit. Also has a hideaway unit. I installed a rear view camera at the same time. I took my time installing the circuit board and everything worked perfectly. Nick at NM Automotive was very responsive on email when I had questions.
