Stewart Gordon welcomed all to the meeting, some what down in numbers this month due to many of us on holiday. Also for Ian and Paula who are new members to the club and are actively looking for an air cooled 911 at present.

First mentioned was this coming Sunday’s show (6th July) which is the Classic Ford Show at Bridge of Allan. The meeting point for this one folks will Stirling services in the car park at 0830 and depart around 0900. There are still a couple of passes left for this show for anyone wishing to come along. Please remember to bring your own food to be cooked and our trusted catering staff will be at hand to cook it!!

Next on the agenda was the Beach BBQ Which will be at Tentsmuir Forrest at Kinshaldy beach, Leuchars on the 20th of July. All who are attending please make your way there for approx 1100am. Stewart Gordon will bring along a couple of disposable BBQ’S and everyone to bring food to be cooked, tea and coffee etc will be provided at the usual cost of a mere pound or so. There is a back up plan if the heavens open but we will leave it to the day in question.

Next after that will be the Coldingham Classic car show on the 27th of July and we shall meet at Dreghorn services at 8am sharp as it a wee bit to travel to this one but I have to say a most beautiful part of the country. An informal show not to large and it is a case of just turning up no tickets required. Martin Whitelaw will inform them of numbers that will be attending.

The national show in Gaydon folks!! As you are already aware we will be staying at the Duncow Hotel, rugby south. The rooms are booked for all that are going (15 in total 26 persons) We will meet on Friday the 1st of August at Abington Services at 1000am sharp and driving down the west side of the country M6 etc, we also intent to stop at Scotch Corner at around 1300, directions will be handed out at Abington prior to leaving. The room cost is £55 per room per night and will include continental breakfast; the total cost will be £110 for the 3 nights B and B as the Sunday night will be free for those wishing to stay the Sunday night. Check in time is between 1500 till 2300 hrs and rooms will need to be paid in full upon arrival. Just a small reminder that if you have not already ordered your tickets for the Sunday show then please refer to June’s minutes for full details how to purchase tickets etc. PLEASE NOTE that anyone wishing to cancel there accommodation for the hotel will need to inform myself no later than the 15th of July in order that I can cancel them without having to pay for them, after that date you will be liable for the full cost of the room (£110.00). My details are as follows Neil Fraser mobile number 07946616782. or at neil@fraser72.freeserve.co.uk .

Alan Neilson then took the room to mention the Boness hill climb
I had a phone call yesterday from Tom Macmillan who is organizing the Bo-Ness Hill Climb Revival.
http://www.bonesshillclimb.org.uk/index.html
He has invited the club to join the static display of cars on show on the 9/10th of Aug. (the weekend after Gaydon) The closing date for entry is Fri 4th July, after the next monthly meet. I'm up for going, can I get an idea of numbers? It may be too soon after the national show for some but its local/central & a change of scenery! Names were taken for this event and please contact Alan on 07793234096 if you wish to come along.

Stewart Gordon reminded us all that the monthly meet venue will change as from September the 3rd and this will be at The Bo-Ness Motor Museum, Bridgeness Road, Bo-Ness,EH51 9JR

Next meeting will be on the 6th of August and the last one at the Bannockburn hotel.

Many thanks Neil Fraser
