Hi after some advice.

My 996 front bumper is a stone chip magnet, and now the Lacquer is failing even though it was only sprayed last year.

Has anyone had a vinyl wrap or clear bra fitted, worth while or a waste of money

I would go down the clear wrap route.

My 996 is badly stone chipped, i spent a while filling them in before going to Laon. I will probably get the front painted over winter then wrapped.

Hi guys,

I just had my car painted, and the front is a concern for stone chips etc. Any recommendations for who to use for a clear wrap ? I am near to Slough so somewhere local would be ideal...

I must say I don't really see the point of this.

I have clear plastic on the rear doors of my Panamera and the Toyota Aygo chassis just cut straight through it, looked awful.

Seriously though, had them on the rear wings on the 997 also I think they spoil the look, would rather see stone chips than cut clear plastic. I'm thinking of asking the bodyshop to remove mine while there but guessing that it will invalidate warranty?
