I've come across a set of 16" 7j teledials for sale but the seller states they are 65.2 offset. I under the impression these only came in 23.3 and 52.3 offset?

An extremely clean set of wheels, wrapped in 195 40 16 rubber with good tread on all. The wheels are 16" , 7J wide all around and come in a very rare 65.2 offset.

Any ideas?

Early 928s had all four wheels with offset ET65 and width 7"; although the earliest teledials were 15" I believe that 16" teledials were available for a short time, so the seller may have a set of these. The offset should be on the wheels themselves, normally near the valve for cast wheels or stamped into the back on forged ones.

Thanks, I wonder if there are any photos of 944's with the ET65 wheels on? Presumably they'll stick out into the arches slightly more? And I guess these are quite rare and hence demand abit of a premium over the standard 15" teledials.

Apparently the 928 16" teledials are in demand, viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13985&start=15

Might be worth getting if they're a good price?

Theyll look pretty bad on a 944. The excessive offset and the modest width means that the whole centre is proud of the wheel.
