 Post subject: 944 Alarm just sounding after approx 30 mins

Hi i have a 944 and when i set the alarm after about half hout to an hour the alarm just goes off not sure why is there some kind of pendulum switch etc

does the car battery go flat if the car is left for a week or so ? if so maybe a current draw/drop somewhere

Which alarm do you have, pic of the fob would be good. Does it have illuminated door plip buttons. Check that the glovebox & boot lights behave & the interior lamps. If one is switching on/off after a while that'll trigger the alarm.

in answer to the first reply i have left the car over a month in a garage and it starts first time so nothing is drainin the battery for the later i am not sure of the model but it does have a number keypad in the glove conmpartment does this help
