Hi

Windows not working for a while now, have taken off and cleaned all switches, replaced all the fuses in the fuse box and still no joy. Have had a problem locating a relay chart for a 1982 944, on enquiry with parts place they say that there is one for the later models, but apparently not for the 1982 one. Could this be a wiring problem then? I'd appreciate your invaluable comments..... also any suggestions on a rely chart for mine... ta

Have you put 12v direct to the motors to check there ok. Is the wiring good where it bends near the hinges. Could cause a short that stops the lot working. If the wiring checks out ok using a multimeter. Then swap out the relay. I have some similar jobs waiting for warmer weather!

Me again - furthermore if it was the relay I'm not sure where to locate it as I have yet to find a relay chart for the first 944...

Isn't there one on the lid of the fusebox?

I believe there is but it doesn't describe what each relay is, just the numbers of them. (I think)....

I'll investigate...

Thanks for the advice
