Hi,
Got a bit of a problem with fuse no 28. This fuse is for the side mirrors, rear screen
demister and the fan.
I can use the the fan, no problem
I can use the rear screen demister, no problem
I can use fan and the rear screen demister at the same time, no problem.
But,
If I try to adjust the driver of passenger side mirror, by pressing the rocker switch
on the console and the buttons on the drivers door at the same time it blows
this fuse, no 28.
I brought the car with this problem, not major but would be nice to fix. Could this
possibly be a "short" in the wiring in the drivers door, or broken mirror motor?.
Would appreciate some suggestions.
Thanx/ Warren 944s2

Why are you pressing 2 buttons at the same time?

The switch on the console is so that you can adjust either the n/s or o/s mirror, one way to adjust one side the other the other side and stop in the centre to isolate them

Thanks Dave,
I cannot believe that I have been so stupid!. Have just tried without
pressing the "two" buttons at the same time and the mirrors do work!
I had only tried this once before six months ago when I brought the
car. I blew the fuse and replaced it. Also this is the first car that I
have owed that has electric mirrors. Thanks once again for your quick
response.
