*URGENT* 957 Turbo help!!!
I'm at my witts end;
I changed the front discs yesterday and now the car wont start. It restarted after the disc change last night, but now there is nothing.
I cant believe that this would have anything to do with it, but you never know.
The car unlocks, and appears to have power but wont crank.
I've tried 'jiggling' the gear selector to make sure that switch is made, and also the brake peddle.
The 'porsche' symbol lights up on the dash, but thats it.
HELP!!!!!
Cayenne wont start/crank :(

Re: Cayenne wont start/crank :(
Needs a scan really. Are the brake lights working when you press the brake pedal? Do the lights dim when you try to start it. They are super sensitive to battery condition, try a decent set of jump leads or put it on a charger for a few hours. Oh & try a spare key if you have one.

Re: Cayenne wont start/crank :(
Hiya Jim.
Many thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately a scan didn't show any faults, and I had already tried a spare key.
The Porsche symbol lit up on the dash; other than that no other lights were there. There was as if there was zero power to the engine, although other ancillary accessories were operating fine.
In the end I undertook a 'hard reset' by removing the -ve from the battery and it 'fixed' everything.
As you say, I suspect a minor voltage 'blip' had shut the car down.
I'll monitor, and perhaps purchase a new battery should it re-occur.
Just out of interest, does a 020 series battery fit or just the 019 please?
