This will interest any 914 fans but particularly members from the Central Region. Tom Loders 914/6 is featured the new edition of Ultra VW mag. It’s a multi page feature and Tom’s Porsche is looking fabulous. Anyone who know’s Tom will recall he used his car as a daily for sometime and still uses it for the purpose it was made – driving hard! In fact I’ve never seen the ‘6’ looking so shinny!

I’ve been out with Tom in the car and I have to say I was more than a tiny bit worried about the way he drove and the speed he went considering the car’s age!

Gotta get me a 914 one day – it’s one of those cars that I really HAVE to have and will feel like I’ve missed out if I don’t.

I'll keep my eye out for that. I love the 914 too. :thumbright:

I couldnt strech to a 914/6, but I do have a 914. The smaller engined 4 cylinder versions are not exactly slouches in the speed department.

Go on.................Treat yourself :)

Which issue is this? I had a look for it on my way to work yesterday & it wasn't in the February issue.

There is an article with a Porsche 914/6 in it in Classic & Sports Car Magazine though.

Good point - the new issue prob hasn't hit the news stands yet. We sub to the mag so get a copy a few days before WHSmiths. Well worth looking out for
