Post subject:  New Boxster owner

Hi Guys have just purchased a 99 2.5 for the wife with only 41k on clock a real minter the guy as had it for 4 years and 1 owner befor all mots and services docks. I have a 944 turbo so new what to look for after reading on here . Have to say wife is blown away .

Nice motor, Boxster owner to Boxster owner.

Unusual though - 2.5, '99 non-S but with red calipers? Must be upgraded.

Yup - that's what I thought. I tried painting mine, but got paint all over the bl00dy alloys :roll: . Gave up eventually

Yup - that's what I thought. I tried painting mine, but got paint all over the bl00dy alloys :roll: . Gave up eventually


i'd suggest taking the wheels off first :wink:

:D well done there are still some good early examples around,did you get a hard top with it great for winter use unless your a fair weather driver only!!
