Still having issues with my 2.5 and looking for some help.

Initial fault was ignition switch sticking and dash display not going out which flattened battery.

Managed to jump start but would not start again after switching off.

Was told ECU had been spiked/shorted.

Bought a matched engine and immobiliser ECU matched pair with key fob and fitted.

Still same fault present, dash display will not go out unless battery disconnected. Checked relays and fuses. Replaced ignition switch, still the same. Car will not start. All other functions work fine (windows, roof etc). Dash lights come on but nothing further when turning key.

Any help appreciated. Located in Glasgow.

Cheers.
