My beloved 987 has had a pretty major engine failure and the repair bill using Porsche parts and an independent specialist is a bazzlion pounds. A friend has suggested that I put a quality recon engine in rather than just do the short block etc. Does anyone know of where I might find such an engine? The garage have said that if I provide the engine they will be happy to fit it. |

Talk to Hartech in Bolton. They may be able to rebuild your existing engine irrespective of what has happened, they'll also massively improve the base engine & offer a warranty. |

Jasmine Porshalink were advertising a water cooled engine the other day but I cant remember if it was Carrera or mid engined. Worth a quick call? Also 9apart in Ramsbottom are always breaking these cars so worth enquiring. For a rebuild: Hartech, as above. |
