Re: Articles Required for the Magazine
having written a few articles now myself the length of an article varies to the subject, Ive had articles which are half a page long and the longest to date was about 5 pages worth, but that was on a rare 935 race car. to be fair so long as its well written, comes from the heart, has good flow / spelling and punctuation then its a winner what ever the subject.
obviously writing a biography for your car is going to be a bit extreme as space in the magazine is limited, but the more subjects that can be covered the better.
just remember this is your club, and your magazine. if you don't contribute to it how will we and others know. its amazing how fair these magazines travel, I've sent copies to parts of Europe, the US and Australia, so it goes further than you think.
if anyone needs pointers please contact myself or Tony Blow for advice or ask your RO / ARO

Re: Articles Required for the Magazine
When do you need articles by for the next edition? I have had rollercoaster ride the last few months with my recently aquired 944, plenty of lessons learned! But ultimately think i have saved the car from the crusher.

Re: Articles Required for the Magazine
I am doing a 'scenic' three day road trip in this November with my 944S2 and a 944 Cab, the latter driven by friends from the UK. It involves great roads, dicey mountain passes and ocean views. All in the West Cape, South Africa...
Could be too late for your edition however...?

Re: Articles Required for the Magazine
Just posted this in the introduction form section. Something you may consider expanding on for the magazine? Richard
A few weeks ago I was waiting for a haircut in my local barbers, idly flicking through magazines, as you do. Being a petrolhead, my Barber had a selection of 2018 Classic Car Mart publications. In the Spring edition, I read the article of Porsche 924/944s as future classics/projects. I owned a 1988 944S which I purchased in 1994 and sold in 2000 as kids/dogs etc got in the way.
I loved that car and, as I was toying with the idea of owning a classic car, the article reignited my thoughts on 944 ownership again. On getting home I carried out a quick search on Autotrader and found 25 for sale Nationwide.
I hope you can imagine the shock and surprise i experienced when the 3rd car listed was my old 944!!! As a consequence, I am now the proud owner of F86 OUD for the second time. What are the chances
