As a new TIPEC member, I’ve just received the All Torque mag. All Good stuff!
Having had several Porsche cars in the past- two 911 3.2 Carrera Coupe Sports, a 944S2 race car, and a 924 2.7, I’m a confirmed Porsche fan!
So in January, I bought a lovely PDK Cayman. It’s clearly a very late 987-2 car, as it was only first registered in September 2012.
However, I noticed in the Chairman’s Chat, that he mentioned that the Cayman was manufactured in Finland upto 2012. This seems to conflict with my car’s VIN reference. It shows the factory designation of S for Stuttgart.
Also, can the actual date of manufacture be determined?
Any info, would be greatly appreciated.
