battery reconnect

Post by ferdinand »

After the extra long long winter lay up I will be reconnecting the battery over the next couple of days.
When I disconnected it I put the ignition key into the first position to stop the alarm going off.
Is it the same for the reconnect ie ignition key in the first position?
Thanks

No just reconnect without key in the ignition and it should be fine :)

Be warned once you start it, the DME will need to relearn the parameters of your engine so idle & driveability will be poor for 30-60 minutes.
