Unlucky mate.

I replaced the screen on the Jaguar on Christmas Eve and by the 27th I needed another new one. Fortunately I did not have to pay for it.

It happens from raising the bonnet too high. Just take extra care.

I understand. Think I'll put some old blankets there to protect the screen. Not looking forward to removing the heated water jets in one piece either.

Only the cabs had a antenna in the screen on 968's, all the tin tops have a roof antenna, I'm no expert on 944's, are they not the same

Neither am I but I think the square dash cars had antenna on the wing and oval dashes were in the windscreen.

yup I am sure your right, the only 944 picture i could find with a roof twig was a 1991 Turbo
