A very sad farewell, for anyone who has ever used Clarke’s Garage, he must have helped out 1000’s of front runner owners over the years

Very sad a true enthusiast that many of us have been helped by.

That site is invaluable. I hope it stays up and is maintained in his honour.

 :( :(

That is very sad news, he's provided such an invaluable resource for us all! RIP Clark :(

I'm sure there will be lots of wilingness clarks-garage.com maintained in the community if it's needed - and I know I'm not the only one to have taken a copy of the site that I'm happy to host if the original site can't be maintained.

How do you do that?

Easy on a Mac or Linux based machine using the wget command, a little more faff on windows.
The menu system gets a little broken that way though due to the way it's been implemented.

Probably easiest to download my copy from here: https://github.com/RJPGriffin/clarks-garage
Go to the green clone or download button, then download zip.

Extract this to a file on your computer and open index.html. It should open in your browser and behave just like the normal website - I did a quick fix on the menu system but haven't tested that pictures all load still.

Github also hosts it as a website, but I'd only recommend using it as a backup - keep traffic going to Clark's actual site!

Thanks for the link, a nice opportunity to say thank you. The number of messages from the 944 community is lovely.
