Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm going to be away for the next couple of weeks. While I'm away, would anyone like to volunteer to organise a Sunday morning breakfast run? I've got a route suggestion that you could use (but feel free to ignore):
https://goo.gl/maps/bv1Atbv75RM2

People from Notts could meet at the BP on the A52. People from Leicester way could join, maybe in Waltham on the Wolds?
What I don't know is whether there's somewhere where everyone could stop for breakfast in Wymondham / Buckminster or thereabouts.

Would someone be able to take this on for me? Maybe on a Sunday a week or two before we get together again?

What do you reckon?

If someone could help out that would be great. If you could post both here, and on the Facebook group that would be the best way to let everyone know (https://www.facebook.com/groups/985059581625524/)

Cheers!
Jim

I am happy to organise something. It looks like there is a nice café at Rutland Water, not sure about parking yet but I can look into that if everyone is OK with the venue. Also a date, I am thinking 26th March? BP garage for Notts meet is spot on for me, but we can shift this if it helps the masses. Cheers, Mark.

Cheers!
Jim

Let me know what you think, thanks, Mark.

Sound and looks a decent place. Opens at 10.00am but it is mothers day I think.

Another venue that is similar with Breakfast at £5.50 is
Lakeside Bistro
Shortheath Road
Moira
Derbyshire

The fact that it's Mothers Day rules it out for me, sorry.

OK, seems like Mothers Day is going to be an issue for some people, so lets bump it to the week after - 2nd April?

April 2nd is also the AGM, so no good. How about 19th March?

I'm hoping to have my car back from the body shop by then so will be perfect. Are you planning on Rutland or the Derbyshire one?

I think the Rutland one. I have had no feedback on the other one.
