A 1990 model (registered in 1991) 944 S2 with the private plate H7 BAL, which I believe has always been with the car, the original owner being a B A Lloyd, she’s titanium with an ivory/cream leather interior and has covered around 145,000 miles (bit less than that, but I'm still using her). The interior was originally blue (from Certificate of Authenticity), but has been replaced/recovered at some point and is in very nice condition and very comfortable. Everything works including the clock and Porsche alarm/immobiliser.
The paintwork could do with some attention, but overall still looks good as you'll see from the photos (including inside the sills before and after treatment, and some areas that let her down a little) here:
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=A ... =folder%2c There is an impressive service history/invoices and I had to buy another service book, as the original is full. I have owned the car since May 2011 during which time I have had her serviced by OPC Sutton Coldfield up until June of 2013 when I had a £1600 Signature service and front end overhaul (belts, water pump, engine seals, etc.) at JMG Porsche. I also had an inspection, the results of which I would be happy to share with anyone interested bt would welcome any further inspection . There is a small list of jobs to be done, but nothing major or urgent. Although a new set of tyres would be a good idea at some point in the future. They are perfectly serviceable, with plenty of tread, but they are old now.
She’s taxed until August 2014 and MOT'd until March 2015 - advisory items (none of which the tester was concerned about) :
Brake hoses have slight corrosion to ferrules
Fuel pipes corroded
Rear tyres slightly perished
The full history is available here:
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=A ... ile%2c.pdfDuring my ownership I have also had the handbrake shoes and cables replaced; a new washer pump; geometry and ride height adjusted; and a new battery. The radiator drain bung and ABS relay have both been replaced in the last few weeks at OPC Sutton Coldfield.
She's not perfect, but a very good, genuine example which has been looked after properly.
I think she's worth the £4,800 I am asking, but accept that others may feel differently, so am open to offers.
All the best
David
