Don't know about the 996, but I enquired with Ian Bannings car audio in Guildford about getting full integration into my 997 for i-pod. The facility they offered meant it was integrated into the audio system with tracks selectable from the screen and the i-pod linked into front boot. I havent gone for it yet as it was quite expensive and I lost the CD Autochanger but worth speaking to them. Cost quoted was £420 + VAT and apparently they fit quite a number for OPC Guildford.

The best option is the mObridge iPod kit. It offers full iPod connectivity via the fibre optic MOST bus, and it gives full navigation via the PCM screen. Installation is very easy - even more so if you plan to replace your CD changer with your iPod.

Thanks Adrien. I have read some good reports on the Mobridge unit, so I think I will opt for that. Thanks Mark
