Well, the 996 is ready to be picked up from Lawton Brook in Knaresbrough, but I can't get there until Saturday!!!!!! It's just a waiting game until the weekend now. They've offered to deliver it, but I want to go and pick it up. Is there anything that will make the weekend come any quicker?

Yeah, know what you mean. You could try working longer hours and/or sleeping more, but the latter could be difficult considering the circumstances, so I'd recommend having a double night cap, every night, to help you out before it arrives.

 Thanks for the offer Jim, but getting enough time to get to Kent and back would be even harder. I'm sure they will be glad to see the back of it, I am officially the worlds hardest/most difficult customer to deal with. I think it is going to be an early start on Saturday and be there for them opening.

How does it compare to the 360? I've never been a Ferrari fan but was reading an article on the V8 Ferrari models and thought? Hmmm they do sound good. Maybe.. one day. 355 perhaps with its open gate or 360 for the nice interior before they ruined it in the F430.

I believe that the Ferrari can't lay down the power just as quick. The 4 wheel drive system helps the 996 stay in a straight line. A friend drove mine last week and says it was the fastest 0-60 he had done. He has a 550.

That's his behind my car. His car lights up like a Christmas tree when he buries his foot in the carpet, then the traction control kills the throttle. Ferrari make some fantastic cars, and while I've never been a massive fan I do appreciate the engineering and style, but for some reason I'm always drawn back to Porsche. I wanted a car I could use everyday and enjoy driving. Can you do that in a Ferrari, when 30,000 miles is considered hyper high mileage?

I guess what I'm saying is, I'm biased????????

We need to find someone who owns both to get an honest answer.
