Just spotted this on http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_INTacc_pg28.htm and even though it doesn't look that pretty, I think it's a good idea. The driving position in the 911 and the fact that it doesn't have a arm rest is one of the things that I don't like about the 911, so this is an improvement don't you think?

Have a look at BIRDAutomotive.com they used to do armrest for early 911 with cupholders/storage under. Look a lot better than the above
