| Post subject: | Engine additive? |
I've just had my 993 MOT'd and the mechanic suggested I use Slick 50. I've never used additives before but he seemed to think it might be a benefit. Mileage is 106k and I use Shell Helix oil. Any thoughts? |

My specialist , (not the MOT garage) switched me to Shell Helix Ultra from Mobil 1. I have never used additives in an engine. I figured that the engineers who designed it are better eqipped than me to recommend oil tolerances. Thanks for the response. Confirms my view |
