hi All,
I need to weld up a jacking point to my 964. I cant believe, the car is in good shape, but the front left jacking point collapsed. I got the new one, ordered from Design911, just need to weld it up.
What do you think guys is that enough if I disconnect the battery? I don't want any electrical troubles after.

Also appreciated if you could recommend me a good welder in the West Midlands or Worcestershire area.

I disconnected the battery when I welded my jacking point and had no problems.
Any competent mig welder will be able to do it.
