I posted in this elsewhere http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15447 but hopeful some of you aircooled guys can give me some pointers.

I've got the chance to get a Becker Cascade 7946 to go in my 993.

Anyone rate these units especially in a 993? Anything to look out for? Good or bad idea?

Thanks in advance.

I think they are quite period looking and should suit the 993.

There are 15 pre-sets for illumination so hopefully a subtle amber is available.

For €400 Euro's looks like a decent buy. :)

Those Becker units certainly get my vote (Cascade, Indianapolis, Traffic pro etc). They look like they're made for 993's - they do fit flush but can be a tight fit. I've had the Cascade, Traffic Pro and now an Indianapolis in my last 3 consecutive 993's.

Thanks for the comments.

They do suit the 993, just need to decide if cost premium is worth it.

I have an Indianapolis in my 964 and yes, its definately worth the money.
When I brought the car it had a silver unit in there with all kinds of flashing lights which couldn't have looked more out of place.

My Indianapolis Pro arrived on Friday. Just need to get it fitted now.

Thanks again for the comments.
