Have just replaced most a gearshift mechanism and contacts down to and including coupling on my 1968 911L Sportomatic.

Still having trouble getting everything adjusted to work smoothly at all times (especially after it's been standing a while).

Can anyone recommend an experienced mechanic in the Kent, Surrey or Sussex area to check my adjustments OPC or Independent to look at this for me.

Thanks

:D

Have you had the transmission off and changed the clutch plate? Sometimes they become contaminated, fury or the friction face of the pressure cover can become rusty... Sometimes this can be cured by several hill starts.
