I am in the process of buying a 1997 Turbo S and installing PSS9 struts.

Question - What is the correct factory ride height?

Facts - The Porsche manual states that the ROW ride height for the S is the same as the regular Turbo. However the articles and reviews from that period mention that the car was 15mm lower than the Turbo.

Thanks

no good lending it to Clive, what you need for a good test is to lend it to a short fat bloke for a year. :D that'll be me then.

acording to my data the ROW ride heights for the turbo and S are the same , 144m/m front and 127m/m rear , both being 30m/m less than the USA settings . these are both taken at DIN 70020 curb weights , and of course are ajustable , which is where the the articles may be discussing a lower height ? I cannot see why the should be lower on the S .

Does it have RS suspension? It's an option that some were fitted with, and I think that will lower the car.
