I honestly was not prepared for the impact it would have on the feel of the Car.. Each Step of this Car's restoration is like a Leap..

Finally discovered what was causing the horrible gear change and jumping out of 2nd and 4 th gear. The rubber boot had got torn and jammed between the shift rod and the bulkhead. Once removed the gearbox has been transformed. Its like a new gearbox! Wish I'd done this years ago.

Fitted a Heater Blower ByPass Pipe from Rennline..

File comment: The Heater Blower, sucks Hot Air off the Block and blows it down into the Heater Pipes and thence into the Cabin.. Weighs about 4Kilos..

File comment: Once you have unplugged all connectors, you'll need to undo two bolts on the Blower; one up top..

File comment: Compare the two units, and realise the Weight Saving for very little Heat Gain..

File comment: You need to remove the Fan Shroud, attach it to the ByPass Pipe, then relocate both parts together..

Finito..

You just need to tidy up the old Cables & Connectors with Zip Ties..

Be sure to clip the one that holds it down close to the where the Heater Blower Connection was, then clip back up further back in the Engine Bay.. :wink:
