A man asked his wife what she'd like for her 40th birthday. "I'd love to be six again," she replied. On the morning of her birthday, he got her up bright and early and off they went to a local theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear, everything there was! Wow! Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park, her head reeling and her stomach upside down. Then to a McDonald's they went, where her husband ordered her a Happy Meal along with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake. Then, it was off to a movie - the latest Disney and what a fabulous adventure!

Finally, she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed. He leaned over and lovingly asked, "Well, dear, what was it like being six again?" One eye opened. "You idiot, I meant my dress size." The moral of this story is: When a woman speaks and a man is actually listening, he will still get it wrong.

Oops!......should I as a woman be sending this in? ;-)

There is some science here.

Gender studies have shown that traditionally and biosociologically it's the man that deals with the world and has evolved communication skills.

Now nature is not unfair, so has given the woman intuition instead to make up for her lack of evolved communication skills.

In fact, intuition has been praised by the poets, unlike communication skills, so the woman has actually got the best deal. Us chaps don't mind though - nothing's too good for our women.

Woman's intuition means that she can understand what the man is feeling without him having to talk. This is important, as the man, being naturally humble, tends not to talk about how he's feeling. Thus the woman can more quickly and effectively tend to the man's needs, which in turn makes him better equipped to deal with the world and so carry out his function to protect the woman.

So, to conclude, the communication issue as brought up above, is all down to Nature favouring the woman. This is why some men want to be women.
