I would like to thank Robert Beresford (new TIPEC member and owner of the garage) and the staff at Car -Tech Prestige, for inviting the members of TIPEC NE to join their corporate track day at Croft last Friday. I thoroughly enjoyed my day even though I didn't venture out in my own car, other than for the pace laps. The passenger laps with Robert in the Lotus 211R were superb, the level of grip and the amount of brake force for unbelievable and made the later laps in the 997 feel a bit pedestrian, even though I did catch a glimpse of the speedo and know that they weren't! |
