Just wanted to give these guys a mention here after Central Region's visit this morning.

Totally professional outfit with the technical expertise and equipment to match.

From an enthusiasts point of view the benefits are:

No air tools used on your wheels (hand braces only!)
Correctly torqued on re-fit
Tyre fitted without use of bars/levers - only a plastic clip touches the rim
Four wheel alignment to OPC standard - the chap that actually does this work is seconded to an OPC by BMTR

Check them out here: http://www.racecarnewmedia.com/bmtr/intro.asp

just like to second paul on his above comments, if their service is half as good as this mornings meet then i will be using their services whenever i can, they even have a machine (costing £15k) which removes tyres from rims with very little human contact with the tyre/wheel, and the machine has plastic and nylon wheels rather than the old metal tyre levers used in the past

Very professional company.

If you are a memebr of TIPEC they have special prices for us

Just mention you are a TIPEC member, get a quote for work to be done and present your membership card as proof of membership

Very, very professional outfit they are

Pirelli rate them so highly that they are one of only three Platinum rated fitting companies in the UK, bit like getting 3 Michelin stars in the restaurant business and the hardest part of all is keeping the Planinum rating

Even when tyres are fitted to your car and hand torqued on there is a further process of having the work done checked by a second technician. Not an air gun in sight

It's still a family run business and one member of the family had 2 class wins at Le Mans with Charles Ivy

Was it mentioned how much wheel/suspension alignment was? Do the club get a discount? (As Porscheshop don't offer a discount on labour.)
