Has anyone ever used them? I'm going to get an independent report on a Boxster I'm considering purchasing, but the seller isn't keen to take it to the place I initially suggested as it's very far from his home and office.

This is my first post, and will be my first Porsche, so any help and advice would be really appreciated.

Thank you.

I’m afraid I’ve never heard of them.

The nearest I can recommend are RPM in Maryhill. They’re right next to the train station.

Ideally, I’d say take it to Motortune in Shotts, but that’s probably going to be too far for your seller to want to go.

I'm always wary of garages that say they specailise in more than one marque.

Feedback is always going to be mixed for any service provider as it's usually those that have cause to complain voice their concerns.

That’s always a very good point to remember: Complainers are more vocal than folk who were satisfied and happy.

Been using Lorimer & Findlay for 6 years now, always found him honest and too the point. Had great service every time I've been in, and always has some really nice cars in so I'm not the only one who thinks so.
Bet I'll get a discount now!!

Rich Dunn, who is more active on the 928 uk list, takes his 928 there. I was speaking to him last week and he suggested I give them a try. The guy used to own and run a 928, so he does quite well with his car and the price , service and capabilities appear quite good. After my experience at Motortune, I posted about it at the time, I decided to use George Morrison in Rutherglen. I can't fault the work he has done, however he is slow ( at fitting you in, not working on the car ) and a bit pricey.

Before Rich mentioned them, I'd never heard of them.
