Sent the MAF from my 928 in the post yesterday to John Speake ( as mentioned in the 928 area).

At just after 10am this morning I received an email from John to confirm my MAF had arrived at 8am - that he had tested it to confirm how far out of calibration the unit was - and confirming he had a rebuilt exchange unit ready for shipping! And its saturday!

John has also been very communicative throughout via email to discuss symptoms etc.

How's that for excellent service

has it arrived yet, and is it fitted ? if so has it made a difference ?

Just to confirm very similar experiences to Paul's in all my dealings with John - extraordinary levels of expertise and service.

You don't actually feel you're dealing with a business with John, rather you're getting help from an expert and fellow enthusiast (he's a pillar of the 928 community globally) who just happens to have created a business from his 'hobby'.

John is one of the real gents in the Porsche world.

Yes it arrived on 2nd Jan - exactly as promised

Not fitted yet as I was waiting for some other bits from the US that I wanted to replace at the same time. These arrived yesterday so hopefully if the weather is ok at the weekend I'll get it all put back together.

Then we'll see what the difference is
