Good to his word. A rebuilt ZF pump has arrived. He hasn't even charged a deposit. So in the end thats pretty good customer service in my book. Hope it lasts longer than the mk1. :D

Jon Mitchell does rebuilt ones for around 160 or you can buy the kit from the US (Pelican amongst others) & do it yourself. Noisy can be cavitation when the release valve hangs up.

New Pump fitted. Quiet & no leaks! :D Just got to get some new drop links on the front roll bar & I'm away again! At least it goes in a straight line now.

I've always had good dealings with Club Autosport too. They are a bit back street dealerish, but have always come good with me. :wink: They did a great job, respraying my '44, though I did have to take it back to have some paint on the doors rectified. They did it with out complaint. 8)
