Highly recommended Porsche Specialist.

Post by 1Rockrocks »

I have owned my 928S4 for about 25 years. Throughout those years it has been a real struggle to find decent standards of service from dealers and so-called specialists - whom have often created/made the problems worse.
I would like to recommend an 928 specialist that is fully trustworthy and has vast amount of knowledge - thereby fixing properly previous bodges. I travel about 100 miles from Shrewsbury, and I know they have regular customers from London, because they are the best that I know of, and I have tried a lot;-

Give Chris a call at Loe Bank Motors LTD, Bury, on 01706-826060.

Also, excellent body shop next door is Mark at Bury Motor Body', on 07976-384227.

Both these garages are honest and very reasonably priced for the quality of workmanship.

I am not from the UK, but I hope that you will be able to get a client from this community. It will best if you will share your experience as well, as a lot of members here need insight from an experienced person like you.

Loe Bank Motors sorted out a faulty air conditioning system - that other so-called Porsche specialists had made worse.
Also, they fixed the cooling fans fuse blowing fault.
Replacing front brakes.
Getting the limited slip differential working again - by installing the correct oil.

Bury Motor Bodies resprayed the roof - which had gone very dull.
The bonnet - due to corrosion around the washer jets.
The shuttle panel - due to corrosion.
The lower plastic protection plates are were coming adrift from the car doors and sills.
