Hi Gary,

Merry Christmas!!!! Thanks on your reply.....I posted the topic just to find out if anyone else had any good/bad experiances with Hatfield, as I have had a terrible experiance with Hatfield and then Porsche GB. They sold me "duff" Cayenne that had 12 interventions in 12 months (2 of which had to get re-done) and have always tried to get out of their warranty obligations......the worst thing is that they dont seem to see that there is anything wrong with that. On top of that I found them to be very rude and uncooperative and I would not reccomend to evreyone to streer clear of them!!!!

As I mentioned above, I just wondered if anyone else had a similar experiance or I am just "unlucky"!

Thanks again.
Pavle

Porsche Hatfield are the reason I'm on this board.

I asked them to quote for some work on my 1991 Porsche 944 S2, and the response that came back was nothing less than amazing:

Replacement of a broken antiroll bar bracket: GBP250
When I rang through to parts they quoted me GBP5.90 for the component itself. It's held on by two bolts.

It gets worse...

Replacement of rear brake pads (pads only, not discs): GBP450!!!!!
For parts they quoted me GBP136, so I rang Porsche Shop and got them for GBP50.

If the replacement of all this takes me longer than an hour or two I'll be astonished.

They also quoted GBP780 for the replacement of two driveshaft gaters. Now I know that these are a pain to replace... but that's just insane.

I currently work overseas a lot, but when I return to the UK on a more permanent basis I will be getting a 911.

Porsche Hatfield just guaranteed that I won't be buying it from them.
