Post subject:  Elite Custom Exhausts, Prestwick/JMG Porsche

I contacted these guys about 2 weeks ago because half my exhaust is s/s and half of it is standard. The front section being standard was a bit ropey but not an immediate or major concern.
The problem was that the front sections were welded to the rear section, making it a pig of any job if the exhaust needs to be removed. There was also a difference in bore from the front sections and the rear.
I purchased the Precision shift and front shift upgrade gear linkage from JMG Porsche - and thanks, they are beautiful bits of kit and beautifully put together.

I decided that I would try and complete the exhaust in s/s and wanted the rear section put together with a flange (not sleeved) for future access and to aid getting the intermediate gear linkage on my 944.

Martin of Elite Custom Exhausts built the whole of the front section including the twin pipes out of stainless steel and put a 2 bolt flange so that the silencer section is easy to remove. This included 2 middle boxes.

It's a superb job, I cannot fault it. I was also apologetically late due to traffic and didn't get there till 11am and he had finished by 3pm.

£350 including VAT.
