My oil pressure sender has packed up. Not a cheap part. I tried everyone & £50 +Vat & postage seemed to be as good as I could get. Rang up JM garage last. That will be £35 sir. Including the postage. !! I also need a sunroof seal but everybody wants £80+ JM garage are actually getting one made for me & it will be a great deal cheaper. It the parts wrong they take it back & swap it with out fuss. The best Porsche parts supplier I've found bar none. Haven't asked them for a Tipec discount yet! Thanks for the nudge Gordo!

Not holding out for maximum profit, we may actually stand to make a loss on this offer. But that may be the price I pay to enlarge the mail order side of the business while also building a database of another Porsche parts suppliers prices, which is usefull in itself.

How it will work.

Customer needs to be a TIPEC member

They see a price on the website of Euro Car Parts and let us know that suppliers part number, or a link to their website so we can verify the price.

We check its actually something we can supply (such as we cant sell euro car parts socks!)

We deduct 10% from that price, charge you that amount and give you free shipping.

If we make a loss on a part, we can then complain to the manufacturer and get our prices to us adjusted for the future.

Initially this offer will run for just one month to see how it goes.. if it goes well, and it does not bancrupt me, I will do it for longer.

We have given free advice to Tipec members for 10 years now, and this is just another way we can help, please dont shoot us for trying :)

Please don't misunderstand my posting. I'm not accusing anybody of promoting anything etc etc. I suppose that being factual is one of my downfalls (I probably haven't got any others ) in that sometimes people take my forthrightness and factuality (if that's a word) as being criticism - but it's not intended that way and I apologise if that's how it came across.

Now, must pack or the wife will be nagging as we've a plane to catch to somewhere for a couple of weddings..... two more decent blokes to the slaughter
