 Post subject: xmas shopping

went out to my local morrissons this morning to buy xmas booze, as a tight wad have been saving the vouchers from the fuel as i do 1k miles a week soon mounts up, anyway filled my basket as they do a nice 2 packs for £16 on beers, so of i went to queue up, 90 mins later i got to the till behind a lady who's bill was £242, to be fair one employee was wandering up and down the queues apologising and handing out quality street, i asked the cashier about the queues and she told me friday was worse at between 2 and 2 1/2 hours, i know its bah humbug but the shops are open on the 27th so all that for 2 days, is it me?

No mate it's not. Didn't go at all this weekend. Not shoping now until Thursday! Can't stand the crush. Why do people have to buy food for a month when the shops are shut for 2 days is beyond me!

Just got back from Waitrose, bloody chaos. You'd think the shops we're closing for a month.

One bloke actually tried to physically move me out of the way, whilst I browsing in the Pork Pie section.

Thank god it's only once a year.

The biggest Christmas decision is which Pork Pie to buy. A Dickenson and Morriss went into the basket.
