This is a great drive. But a bit of a beast off the track. Prefer the '44 for the road. Strangly you can't change gear until it's warm just like the '44!
Not rich just a part time Chauffeur. Good work when you can get it. :glasses2:

I have no problem changing gear in my '44 when it's cold. What about everyone else?

Changing from 1st to 2nd in my S2 is awkward until the engine comes up to temperature

By cold I mean -2 or below. My car lives outside. Can be a problem at traffic lights as I'm somtimes sitting there trying to find a gear & the lights go back to red..... Happened a couple of times. :roll:

did a track day at mallory park in one of these about 14 years ago, quick but quirky

Even in minus temps, I've never had a problem finding the gears. Maybe I'm the lucky one?
