Aside from some New Years Day meets, this event has come to mark the start of the old and interesting car year. Although in danger of becoming a victim of its own success, there were hundreds of diverse Porsches along with a huge number of other interesting vehicles.

The photos look fantastic! Love the collection of historic Porsche's, but were there any new models as well?

Curious as to how many new Porsche's there would be at a Heritage meeting.

Great photos - nice to see my 924 in there :D

Had a great morning there and the pure variety of cars makes it a fantastic event though with the traffic problems it creates I do wonder if the format will change in the future?

Thanks both.

Since these events began we’ve never had to queue for anything like as long as we did last Sunday and I wonder if the gridlock will draw criticism from the locals and the authorities. There are ways that the organisers could assist though, such as getting cars through the gates quicker and making sure that drivers don’t leave a ten car gap between themselves and the car in front. The laborious scanning of prepaid tickets is a big hold-up too and means that these often take longer to process than cash. It would be so much quicker to just collect them.

Goodwood has been causing chaos around Chichester for many years and while everyone appears to accept this it is not good for residents or visitors. With businesses such as Tesco and the Outlet Village close to Bicester airfield I’m sure that they will soon complain if the congestion affects them.

There are also lots of Porsches attending from the last ten years up to very recent, although it's difficult to estimate the proportion with up to 500 Porsches around the site.

That last pic is what it's all about. We gotta get the new generations into Porsches as much as possible and from an early age as possible. haha
